>>847I disagree because music can be a stabilizer of sorts, as long as it is something repetitive or constant. Especially if there is noise in your environment. The sound of a cat, police siren, rowdy neighbor, etc can startle you awake but if the music is at the right volume it creates a background fog where sudden noises are obscured.
Long playlists of pure ambient music (no beats) work the best. William Basinski, Earth or Natural Snow Buildings are some of my favorites.
