zzz - dream

All the speed he took, all the turns he'd taken and the corners he'd cut in Night City, and still he'd see the matrix in his sleep, bright lattices of logic unfolding across that colorless void...

I think it was half a week.
Looked like a zombie in the end of it. Not joking. When people from the outside world saw me after this and before sleeping they said I looked like a fucking ghost.

Not the best experience for someone to have unless you want to hallucinate in a bad way.

96 hours, almost exactly. To be fair, this was when I was 11, so it was before my body needed as much sleep as it does now.

I once went about 68 hours with no sleep, and as I was on my way to a meeting (senior design) I saw my face reflected in a window next to an anti drug add (drugs?! not in our town!). I looked worse than the supposed meth user on the add so I turned around and just went straight to bed.

Around 78 hours, probably a few less.

This was a year ago so I cannot remember much. All I recall is that when I decided I should sleep I just laid down on my bed and closed my eyes and woke up the next day almost instantaneously. Usually I feel like there's an in between part when I sleep. I am not sure if any of that made sense.

178 here, I felt relaxed and somewhat very peaceful before falling asleep. I wouldn't say I felt terrible.

i had that a few times, too. even after normal days. i remember this one time i was looking forward to something very much as a kid, went to bed around 10 pm, and couldn't fall asleep for hours, and then this one time i blinked, and suddenly the sun was up. i was watching the window in the same pose as before blinking, and it was weird

40-50 hours, I studied all night once and then caffinated myself stupidly at around 4pm which kept me up that night also. Went to bed at like 5pm that day.

Over 40 hours and this happened a few times. After a while it actually gets harder to fall asleep but you're not really 100%... it's the wake/sleep equivalent of being "undead". Unawake.

My uncle worked on ships and he was once required to be active for over 80 hours. If there is no one to relieve you at your post then you just have to stay awake and it's not debatable.

I had the same thing, it was weird. I even remember sitting up right while it happened.

3 days, but i'm not sure i wasn't sleeping though, because night went really fast usually, but i did not really feel like i was falling asleep or something, and when morning started i felt very tired.
Can stress be the reason of insomnia?

I've never heard of other people having it, but this is something that I experienced once myself. I was kind of sitting up in my bed and it felt like I blinked and it was morning. It's actually kind of cool, much better than laying awake for hours.

I've had that happen on a few occasions, usually when I'm very tired and in a particularly comfortable bed.

Longest I've ever gone without sleep is probably somewhere around 20hrs at max. I just can't do it.

>>

 No.1169

I'm a regular insomniac, but I never went more than 36 hours. My regular pattern is something like 3-4 hrs per night with weekend recuperation periods.

>>

 No.1177

Not for that long honestly, although I've often gone a few days on at most 3h of constant sleep, with a few hours there and there during it. Once innna woods when I tried LARP for my first (and only time) and I seriously started to wonder if would get frostbite - and for long periods of time when I was a kid during summers, spend entire day on the beach and the entire night soykaf drinking on /tg/.

probably 30 hours, tops. I always make sure to get some sleep, even if it isn't the regular 8 hours. Even so, there are days when I'm too energetic to fall asleep.
