I vote for Valvrave. soykaf was so bad it wasn't good even if you are a twisted little camp-lover. I wish I could get that time I wasted on this soykaf back.

You have bad animation, a shitty plot that anyone with any knowledge of electronics will hate, bland characters, and mostly fan service with a self-insert.

There is so much out there that can easily be considered the worst. It's so annoying.

I hated both of these, but I think School Days is way worse overall. Then again, I couldn't even finish Haganai. Valvrave was soykaf too.

There's a difference between shows that are just bad like Valvrave and shows that are just complete failures like Mushashi Gundoh or Galaxy Angel.

Valvrave was a personal disappointment but it certainly isn't the worst example of the medium. That would be any zero budget crap from the 70s or 80s.

When I saw this thread the first thing that came to mind was a show I watched pretty recently, called With You: Mitsumeteitai. I'm sure there are a lot of shows like this, low budget early 00s shows that just poorly done all around, but this stood out to me I guess. There are also things like Skelter Heaven, but honestly that was mildly entertaining in a "so bad it's good" sort of way to me. Or Mars of Destruction maybe, through the entirety of that I didn't understand anything from what I remember. There's also plenty of shitty hentai...

I trust you're referring to the bad original japanese script, and not the english dub, because the english dub of Ghost Stories is a goddamn masterpiece of comedy. Episode 9 in particular is glorious; nearly every single spoken line is absolute gold.

I watched it with my brother before the dub when we called it 2×2 = Shinobuden. My favorite bits were really just the goofy things the anonymous ninjas did in the background.

I thought it was good stupid absurd fun :/
