Allow me to vent/blog for a moment. Sorry.

>decide to wage slave out and take advantage of African American Friday
>decide to purchase microcontroller and peripheral as two separate orders for technical reasons
>microcontroller ships through USPS, peripheral ships through UPS
>peripheral set to arrive two days afte4 microcontroller
>no big deal
>reel in horror as I remember the federal postal service loses 30% of my mail on average
>microcontroller never shows up, tracking is broken, can't get a hold of anyone
>peripheral ships in from UPS first
>microcontroller is now 2 days late
>federal government in charge of reliable service

God fuarrrking damn it. Why does Amazon insist on contracting the USPS? They're a terrible business that generates a net loss of tens of millions annually. The only reason they're in business is because the state monopolized priority mail in order to receive taxes through mail. They're an inept fuarrrking social parasite worthy of contempt.

So yeah how has your shopping been, /r/?

I picked up a 1 tb portable hard drive and some anime I've been meaning to watch. Should arrive today even though it was shipped thru USPS. Idk fam maybe its just your local service

Got all my Christmas shopping done. Also finally decided to read foundation and Dune, so I bout collections of both of those. Plus I got a decent network repair and testing kit with Crimpers, Cable testers, wire strippers and like 15 screw drivers, plus a wall jack punchdown.

Now all I need to to take out a loan on my kidneys to by a fluke.

The usps has always been great for me.

All other services are crap, since the apartment I live in is gated and just last night a parcel service decided to launch a hard drive over the fence instead of trying the door.

Meanwhile the postman has a key to the door, and always delivers to my door.
