So, with only 70 days left in the year -- that's exactly 10 weeks until Jan 2016.
It's introspection day. How have you spent your 295 days? Did you grow as a person? Become skilled in something? etc.

I got married and got a hound dog.

I've always wanted a hound dog.

I am still a NEET, got a bit better at mastering the command line and overall my life didn't change much.

I did get diagnosed with autism though so that's something.

I quit university, NEETed half a year, and I'm about to learn a trade. My understanding of 'nothing' and 'everything' has deepened a lot, and I realized that SEL is not half as good as texhnolyze. I think my ban expired so I can post this.

I got a job offer from Lockheed Martin, but it is all the way in Denver, and I already have a job and I am a student, so I was forced to turn it down. I really should have taken that job.

Go to community college and get a vocational degree in something like network, infosec, or PLCs.

>>16676
Friend of mine did an internship there and said it's a pretty stressful place to work, but it's a blue-tag company with great pay. Probably one of the best most stable places to be a wage-slave, and you're not gonna be working stupid fuarrrking "tech startup" crunch hours.

I became a level 2 coatings inspector and started going to a local community college to get a technical degree in NDT, I'm halfway through although going in 4 days a week from 7-10 and getting home by 11pm is a bitch.

Other than that it's same old same old. I've been keeping up with my dental visits for 2 years straight, much less hassle that way. One thing I have noticed is how I have pretty much no anxiety. Whereas before I used to wake up a nervous mess these days it just doesn't happen. I wonder if this is what Tzu means by living in the present.

Work comes and goes due to the oil downturn but it gives me time to study and do my own thing. It's like I have more of my life in control.

>>16676
Damn, I think you messed up. Having something like LM on your resume is no joke.

Working on my senior year right now. Pretty much constantly overcome withh stress these days.

Don't know what I'm going to be able to do with my life -- too poor to make college worth it for the debt, programming is a field that's going to be overinflated by the time I'm out in the workforce, want to go *somewhere* other than where I've been all my life, wanting to leave the house asap because my home life is soykaf ...

fun stuff

High school? Dude, if I were to do it all over again, I would go straight for a technical degree and start working immediately. That's the end game anyway. The sooner you start the better you'll be.

I think I've improved a lot in my art/illustration. Looking forward to finishing my degree next year then breaking into the design world.

In other news I had to get 8 fillings because I didn't floss and only brushed my teeth once a day. Now I'm flossing/brushing and feel better 'bout not having a disgusting mouth.

It's really hard to say how much I've actually changed. People always change but they also stay the same...

Still haven't finishing SEL either..

I went to the dentist yesterday as well. Had 2 fillings and 1 previous filling redone.

I go in every 6 months for a cleaning/checkup but when I started going I had to do a ton of work.

But yeah, go in regularly and you'll save time, money, and pain.

i still don't got a job, i'm better at the command line now and i learned to program a bit but haven't made anything to put on a resume or finished a project really, told myself i had to finish something before the end of this year and still haven't so i fuarrrked that up too. i gotten a little better at drawing some too, it seems like thats the only thing im good at.

another year of wasting my life being a worthless loser, can't wait until the holidays so i can feel like even more of a dip soykaf because i can't afford gifts for my family

Senior year of high school, I quit my cello lessons and then I resumed them. Still having a hard time expressing myself in English but working on that, started learning French. I really hope to get a full scholarship to study engineering in a first world country, but well, I know that's a long shot.

Just letting you guys know that I'd give anything to know what I know now and be a Senior in high school. I promise you no matter how shitty you're hormone fueled teenage mind makes you think things are, if you actually form a plan and work right now the future is bright as fuarrrk for you guys. We might all sit around and talk about how grimdark the our future corporate overlords will be, but it'll still be better than it is now... probably...

eh, it's a hit or miss. If I was 19 again knowing what I know now I'd probably be marginally better off.

I got a MS and a kick ass job

Next year I hope to start my own hedge fund

>>

ID: 0e5496 No.17233

pros:
I eliminated imageboards except lainchan from my life
I've made a ton of friends and got myself out of a toxic setting
I started participating in a local hackerspace
I've learned about and improved myself physically, spiritually and mentally
I've been meditating a lot more
I started writing poetry and got back into writing in general
I started college
oh yeah and I learned a new language

cons:
I have not been participative as I wanted to at the beginning of the year. I have not been keeping up with my school workload as much as I'd like to
I'm still spending too much time on the internet
I'm still unemployed
I haven't read as much as I'd like to
I haven't written as much as I'd like to
I've fallen out of computer science related things

>>

ID: 70cdc8 No.17237

Learning tech stuff and learning a language.

Same. Highschool senior here who wants to get the fuarrrk out of home. Although I have enough money to go to college for it to be worth it, I feel you, lainon. Tbh these schools are nothing more than businesses that don't give a fuarrrk about you. It's pretty messed up.
