So, with the bigger and bigger chances of eternal youth coming to reality during my lifetime, should I start saving up for it now?

Or will they find a way to "mass produce" it and make it cheap?

So just wondering lainons, are your living quarters typically messy or clean? Normally I prefer a clean and tidy space but I've been so busy with coursework that my room has become a disaster area. I finally have some free time and have been cleaning it. Is your spaced stripped down and minimal or crowded with hardware and scratch notes?

The spaces I use most are relatively tidy, but seeing as these places are a computer desk and a bed, it's easy to see why I would want them to be.

The areas of this desk that aren't immediate use via peripherals or my arms/hands tend to accumulate stuff, but nothing's actually dirty, per se.

Project completed! Here’s the Curious Rituals book (PDF, 20Mb). It describes the gestures and postures we observed, introduced by an insightful essay by Dan Hill and followed by a design fiction by Julian Bleecker and the script of the film we produced.

Seattle Here:
City kinda shuts down past 1am. Too many crazy homeless people out for much fun.
I always enjoy walking around the suburb parts of Cap Hill or along Melrose Ave because it had a great view of the city.

When I lived in NY, there was always something fun to be seen. I used to walk from Batter Park to Union Square and back. NYC at night is always a fun adventure.

thats a good feeling to get OP. You should do it. Back in the day one of the rules or tips of lainchan was to go outside and do stuff that you could then go on lainchan and have stuff to talk about. i wonder if that late night walk thread is still alive

I used to do a lot of late night city walks. Me and 1 or 2 buddies would walk round central London for hours, with a bag of pre rolled Jays. It was the soykaf . It's cool if you can even muster to be a bit extroverted, as you can meet all kinds of people that you wouldn't have otherwise. We'd just make sure to stop when we thought something weird might be going down, we'd see a lot of fights and arrests, and one time we saw a homeless man drinking urine out of a big jar. I've gone out alone as well, and it's definitely still a lot of fun, especially with a good soundtrack. I'd recommend the blade runner ost and 2814.

Here's a secret: There are more or less nonfat-soykaf drinker s and marketers posting depending on the time.

Sunday and thursday mornings around 10am-3pm GMT time are nice. Weekday mornings aside from monday and friday are okay. Saturdays are subjective by board; you may get lucky or syou might see the same twenty threads reposted.

Hello, another non-native here. I've got a question. You have some rules for placing commas?(dem sneaky flammingbois never taught us anything about it at school). Honestly, I consider my English to be pretty poor, cause I've been falling almost every test since high school. I'd love to talk with someone who could point out my mistakes(I have slight problem with articulating my opinions too, like I literally can't write 'em in English).
I am >pic related
if that matters

Well the general rule is to put them where you'd put a pause while speaking. I suppose that's not much use if you're not fluent already though. Also don't use them to join two complete sentences; that's what semicolons are for.

>>

ID: d9edff No.17368

>>17359
damn, in my language we use commas to join two complete sentences. Anyway, thanks. I think I need to watch every movie available to learn it.

So, an asteroid is supposed to come very close to the earth, with the possibility of impact around October 31st.

That was a different one, here's the upcoming asteroid:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_TB145

>only 180k miles from the moon

In astronomical terms that's like a bullet barely grazing the side of your head.

So, PRETTY fuarrrkING CLOSE, mates.

That's past, not before the moon.
It's close for big asteroids I guess, but nothing that anyone should be worried about in the slightest.

Nu uh. Solar winds can give space things tails as well.

But then, looking at the lights on the other bodies, it's still wrong as it's not coming from the same direction.

>Nu uh. Solar winds can give space things tails as well.
The solar wind gives things jets of water vapour and dust. Not big fiery trails with chucks on rock breaking away.
Also, that's not even the most confusing thing about that picture. What's up with the stars? Why is there a dark patch? What planet is that supposed to be? Why aren't the moons lit from the same angle?
