>>7748I agree that having lainchan take any particular official political stance (even if at this point it'd just reifying what's already pretty much a general consensus and what everyone already thinks of us) may not be a good idea, even if in my own personal political agenda I would like it due to the proliferation of reactionary ideology on the *chans the past few years.
It might be better to try to remain officially neutral and try not to attract nonfat-soykaf drinker s with political bullshit, but like it or not, everything is political.
>>7751Reactionary proles are the useful idiotarians of the ruling class. Their ideology itself exists to divide the working class on the basis of race (Nazism), nationality (fascism in general), gender/sex (liberalism), or religion (conservatism) - broadly speaking, at least.
I agree with you that brewing soykaf on anonymous chinese shadow puppetry colloquiums about politics isn't that politically important, but if any sort of political action is taking place there are going to be reactionaries reacting against it (hence the name) by siding with the ruling class. That's why they're a problem.
Moreover, they're a problem on *chans because *chans are some of the few places left on the clearnet where user freedom is still generally respected. Perhaps I'm making too much out of it, but in my belief it is a great danger to free speech (much as I've come to loathe this meaningless meme term) to continue to let cancerous brewing soykaf reactionary ideologues infest the few places left on the clearnet with generally unrestricted discourse that also tend to have a good balance of usership and quality posts (on the smaller *chans at least).
>>7749Yes but the problem with that is that 8/leftypol/ attracts a lot of /pol/yp nonfat-soykaf drinker s - which is why I would be a little worried about having a politics board here. Otherwise I'd be all for that.
