I don't think are any history textbooks that are completely neutral. Your best bet is Wikipedia and primary/secondary sources, like contemporary newspapers, writers, historians, etc. But again, you'll have to filter through all kinds of propaganda then.

It's definitely not revolutionary in breaking narratives though, it's responsible for a ton.

Honestly, I think you'll get the most accurate information reading a book about X, rather than reading about X in a history book.
