I can concede that. Even if you do tumble, using an untrustworthy or personal BTC source opens up a major vulnerability. It's a huge red flag if you have to ID yourself in any way.

I mean its not ideal but to say its a major vulnerability is a bit silly. In order to be convicted of a single crime they would have to have access to the tumbling. service records which ideally should not exist. Then they would have to have access to the records on the vendor site which you purchased from.

Im not saying its impossible but it all depends on the level of risk you accept for the operation your intending to run and the fact that police work is a cost value analysis if you can stay above the curve and make it cost them more to track you then it would be to put you away your golden.
