I tend to eat more than usual on benzos but not because of appetite increase, more of just eating more when my body would normally tell me I'm hungry due to not giving a fuarrrk. 'Cause I tend to not bother eating sober unless my tummy starts grumbling like mad or for dinner or breakfast, which has made me underweight quite a bit. On benzos, it's like, whatever my stomach wants food imma go grab a bite.

I used to eat on opiates fine but now I always feel pukey on them and even more pukey when I eat on them. I'm guessing it's cause of tolerance. Now I just dont touch that class of drugs whatsoever.

You can check out RC vendors. A lot less sketchy feeling, mai waifu has never had trouble ordering from them. Especially ones in your country. Although you gotta do your research to find good vendors. And for darknet if youre just getting LSD or something, no way in hell they're gonna find it. Social anxiety has lead me to never find a single drug dealer or any sort of connection off the net but from my understanding unless you're after weed either the RC scene or the darknet is far better than buying in person anyways in terms of both price and quality.

What do you think the best benzo is for mental effects? I have really bad anxiety in certain social situations and want to numb it a bit.

Looking for something that will chill me out and won't give the impression that I'm high or drunk, and won't make me dumb.

I've never used benzos, but I get the impression they're overwhelmingly bad for you except when you really need them (i.e., to kill a panic attack or a bad trip). Not something you want to rely on.

Theanine seems to help me with this issue somewhat, but it's not a cure.

This is only marginally true, at least in my case. I used to have pretty extreme social anxiety. Forcing myself to talk to people allows me to come off as a normal person, but I still have to deal with this basic dislike of other people. And even when I'm feeling great about spending time with people, I have a lower tolerance for the amount of people and activity in a single place than most people have. You can change your personality to some extent, but some things can apparently only be changed by drugs and a change in environment.

I take propanolol, a beta blocker which is solid for the physical effects but does nothing for the mental hangups.

My research has led me to believe that pyrazolam is the best benzo for anxiety. And its a apparently legal as a research chemical in the US. Not sure where to order it though, all the sites that ship to the US look pretty sketchy.

I have hear good things on pyyrazolam for social anxiety although mai waifu has only taken etizolam. But my friend got etizolam and got hooked on it so fuarrrking quick, he ended up in the hospital as a result of stupid benzo decisions. If you aren't gonna only take it when you've got a panic attack or have to go into an especially anxiety provoking situation, don't get it at all. Mai waifu only takes it maybe once a week, sometimes for sleep instead of anxiety too, and haven't had any real problems with tolerance or addiction, but I seem to be the exception to this when it comes to people with social anxiety. Would recommend you get like 10-20 doses to start out with before you buy enough to get seriously hooked on if you can't control your use.

Well, I've been a user of psychedelics for several years now. I've occasionally had brief rough patches during my affairs with LSD and psilocybin, but I've never experienced anything like I did with my girlfriend over the weekend.

My girlfriend and I decided to partake in an acid trip (200ug) together. I'm a relatively experienced user but this was only her fourth time. For the first three or so hours, it was pretty lovely. It was definitely more of a feeling trip than a visual trip for me. However, after about the 3.5 hour mark, the poor girl made the remark that she feels that she's slipping. Concerned, I reminded her that everything we're experiencing was due to the drug and would be over in a matter of hours. To no avail.

Her mental condition deteriorated very quickly. I saw her walking in circles around a support column in the center of the house. When I tried to stop her from doing that, she only looked at me with confusion and continued. She must have walked around that column over a hundred times. Later she began to read notes we had written. First she was reading the notes repetively, but then she began reading everything backwards. At the worst of it she was only repeating "I am [her name]. You are [my name]." over and over and over again, even if I tried to talk to her. Needless to say it was heartbreaking seeing her deteriorate like this with no way to stop her.

I decided to contact a trusted friend, who picked us up and brought us back to my place. Getting her in the car was an ordeal. I hoped the change of setting would shake her out of it. My friend and I decided to act as if everything was normal and did mundane things around the house. After about an hour more of this, she was back to a functioning state. She was confused and had no idea why were at my place. When I explained what happened she could hardly believe it.

It goes without saying I'm very reluctant to let her try anything ever again with me. I've never seen anyone react so adversely to a psychedelic before. I never want to see her hurt like that again. What do you think, /drg/? Was there a way I could have prevented it?

Is that even that bad of a trip, really? You didn't say she seemed super upset or was crying or anything. Sounds like a typical state of ego loss, seeing profundity in how we have separate identities but on another level we are 'all one'. I've been like that before where it is impossible to fully conceive of of how our identities are constructed, and who we really are, etc. I wouldn't be that concerned to be honest. Of course it would be better without the thought loop... but it just seems like an overreaction to think of it as some incredibly bad trip. She couldnt even remember it... no traumatizing memories came from it.

Also I actually recommend against cancelling trips with benzos, unless there's physical danger or something. Most of the time when I have had difficult trips, the best part is the end where the problem dissolves away and lessons are learnt. Difficult trips can be the most insightful. If you cancel it before that resolution comes it can make you feel like the problem is unresolved and the feelings will linger, possibly even for months. This happened to me the one time I took benzos when I was upset.

I've had a proper bad trip involving running around naked and wrecking soykaf on 4-aco-dmt. I was having fun at the time too and it seemed like a sensible thing to do. Didn't realize it was a bad trip till I started coming down and saw the results. Happened toward the end of the trip out of the blue, too. And I'd tripped like 25 times or so before that happened.

Benzos don't really lower the mindfuck or the trip ime, they just make you more comfy and generally more good-vibesy. Maybe it's different for you. But still, the comfyness is good, and I'm sure any placebo you've got about it would make you calm down (a friend who took xanax tripping convinced himself it had made him mostly come down when he was still totally out there). Personally I take benzos with psys quite a bit, I'm not a fan of the physical stimulation some of them give, and always when coming down so I can actually sleep.

You should look up what serotonin syndrome is. You're not gonna be getting serotonin syndrome just taking psychedelics, even mixing them, or mixing them with dissociatives or whatever you've got, from what I've read they don't effect it too much. Unless you're taking 2C-T-7 or another psy with maoi activity. MAOIs and SSRIs and serotonin releasers are what's gonna be giving you serotonin syndrome, not just agonists like your psychedelics. And you should not be mixing SSRIs or MAOIs or what have you with psychedelics to start with. If you're talking about shaky jaw or something, I get that soykaf on LSD and DXM too but that ain't serotonin syndrome.

Give etizolam a try. It's the physically-smoothest and lightest benzo I've ever crossed paths with.

I meant 'psych head' as a euphemism for local dealer. I've only ever seen it happen once with maybe-MDMA/unknown prescription pills but having some liquid Xanax on hand was a godsend.

Actually, etizolam is the only benzo I've used (fuck, I'm on some right now). Yeah, I take it with trips a lot for that, makes it super comfy especially alongside MXE. MXE has the added bonus of taking the trip up to 11 while still keeping you stupidly comfy.

Yeah with a serotonin releaser and MAOIs or SSRIs the possibility of serotonin syndrome would go up by a fuarrrkton, I see what you mean now.

I took those for a while but I only trip a few times a year these days, and I wasn't taking them during a period I was tripping. Maybe I'll try going back on em back around the time I trip. But I've only ever got it on LSD, none of the other psys I've taken, and DXM, and none of the other dis I've taken. And I'm talking 1 tab LSD or 100mg DXM, low as fuarrrk doses (I was sensitive to DXM so that was first plat, have taken DXM hardly at all since I got MXE).

Any lains here smoke? Yeah, it's fuarrrking terrible for you, but I've noticed that a lot of people that have similar interests to the ones on this site (programming, hacking, DIY electronics, sci-fi) also happen to be heavy smokers.

What are your favorite brands to smoke? If you roll your own, what are your favorite brands of rolling baccy?

Currently smoking Camel Wides, tried them out a few days ago after a recommendation and I'm loving them, might be my new favorites.

I smoked tobacco for around four years each day and then stopped, skin is much better, I can breathe much better, I don't forget a lot of things anymore, I don't smell bad, hair feels better, I can actually walk long distances and carry stuff. Now I'm waiting to try cannabis again like in the way that I'm not addicted to it and won't need but a puff or two and then can continue whatever I'm doing. I do not miss it at all, I think one prescription antipsychotic drug made me smoke a lot of tobacco, like 3 packs a day at one point and life was horrible. I really do not want to smoke tobacco anymore, I do not understand who can like the taste and smell of it! Yuck!

I've started wondering why all psychedelics are outlawed and ranked as category one drugs. Psilocybin, LSD and DMT are practically non-toxic considering the amount required for effect. In addition they are considered completely non-addictive.

So why are they derezzed and even picking shrooms brings about harshest possible punishment for drug abuse?

I've never done any of those, but reading some descriptions about trippers experiencing altered mental states has spunned my imagination a bit. Maybe the harsh banning has something to do with those, as in UN or whoever runs the world (it's nobody democratically elected, that much is obvious, they are just smoke & mirrors, bread & circus reality-tv that gives you illusion of choice in case you haven't noticed) don't want people experiencing whatever psychedelics do.

I got very intrested after learning Steve Jobs actually considers LSD tripping one of the most important events in his life.

Any interest in a nootropic thread here or is this just for illicit stuff for your waifus?

My waifu just placed an order for Piracetam, Sulbutiamine, and CDP Choline. She's going to be stacking a bit heavy on the Piracetam at first and then dropping it down later, at least that's what she heard was the best practice from a doctor who studies racetams.

She has been messing about with a 200mg stack of L-Theanine and 100mg Caffeine twice a day but that isn't quite giving her the focus and clarity she desires. That being said, what she wants out of the situation is to be able to work full time then come home and study programming without feeling absolutely mentally drained.

I noticed some antidepressant effects but nothing noticeable cognitively. I admittedly fuarrrked up the trials by smoking weed/taking 2cb though but it seemed pretty good. Have been taking 40~mg a day in bombs.

Plenty of places. In the US you can get Ethylphenidate as an RC or you can buy Ephedrine/Psuedoephedrine OTC. You can also try finding Ephedra Sinica or one of the other Ephedrine containing herbs.
Problem with ephedrine is that it's a precursor to meth, so they keep it behind the counter and you need a driver's license to buy it. If you're buying it to frequently the pharmacist might alert the cops.

Warning: Ephedrine can fuarrrking kill you.
