This was one of the first "real" photo I made with a DSLR camera. Nothing fancy but I liked it enough to use it as an album cover. Changed the contrast a little bit to make the windows frames invisibles.

Hey, thanks.
The first two is done with digital, using 600D and Takumar 50/1.4, and the hand photo is analog film, using HP5+ and homemade paRodinal.
The cloud is actually a house in fire that I take multiple photos and then merged in others using software... the name of this image is "Igne" from "Igne natura renovatur integra".

Well it's got hardened glass windows, and I do keep a key hidden on it. But it's old school v8 with a distributer so can't be hacked... it drives like it's at war, or does it war drive!

Yeah, HP5+ have too much contrast... I don't like it, actually, but I just had this one at the time.

The developing have no intentional push/pull, but it's a stand developing (1:50 paRodinal for ~1h). Also, the light was pretty close to the hand, and I was trying to create something like neo-noir (exp. -2 f-stop).
I did the scan with Canon 600D and 100mm f/3.5 macro, so probably it also added some contrast too.

My next goal is to take photos with dark red filter + polarizer on Double-X 5222 Eastman and develop in pyrogalol stand (1:200 , 3h).

For people doing B&W photos: check out the new demosaicing algo. in RawTherapee... sharp as fuarrrk, really.

The first pic is a famous place in Kyoto,
