Lately, I've been listening to some breakcore stuff.

Hey lainons!
I'm working on a collaborative music project. I wanna make fresh beats inspired by the cyberpunk culture.

I'm gonna be uploading the tracks on here https://volafile.io/r/oaqZeu

I'm accepting all samples as long as your put the BPM and note the is sound in, in the filename.

I'm an open minded individual just like my software so feel free send feedback.

Much love and enjoy the beats.

I'll try to pull something together. I already posted a song on Soundcloud today, but I'd rather try to make something different just for this.

I can't wait to hear everyone else's work.

The Libel is a Cypherpunk graphic novel involving Hip-Hop artist's alter egos. A Satire where sheep slaughter shepherds for shekels. The Libel would not be possible without The Humans Who Inspire Not Jesus. We want to make freedom free but until then we need YOUR help to afford creating The Libel.

Mine is https://soundcloud.com/the-gravid-myrmidon

It's almost exclusively piano stuff, because I rarely have the opportunity to record something else. Not really sure what the genre would be.

Where shines your lack
Of confidence
Wipe this smirk
Your kind is quirk
Your fear is fence

Come for a stroll
Of faith and dance
Dear idol
With hearth at brawl
I'll kiss one day
Your feet of clay.

Is anyone else recording music at home?
Stories, recordings and questions go ITT.

Plug your instrument to the computer, open audacity, press the big red button, play something nice, file > export audio, convert to webm (ffmpeg -i file.mp3 file.webm), post the file here. Bonus points if you play along other lainon's music.

I've been trying to record my guitar plugging it into a laptop's mic input but couldn't get rid of a chirping sound, tried the same with my keyboard but it would send a lot of noise even when the instrument was turned off. Files related.
Aside from those two problems, it seems like home recording wouldn't be that expensive or difficult.

My setup: Yamaha keybord from 1985, a cheap ass guitar, low end laptop and audacity or ardour.

Use computer to process guitar too. Some modular chain like this: EQ -> distort -> echo -> filter -> flanger -> reverb -> output + mix some original signal. Would be nice along with ambient synths.
>Nice, are all sounds from the same location?
Yes, all from one location. Recorded on a bridge going over railroad, near train station. It's a cargo train passing below the bridge, with few cars passing behind recorder.

>>2576
I liked first third of track most. Wish you did not break first speeding-up variation and just played more in such way. Still pretty good.

> Wish you did not break first speeding-up variation and just played more in such way.
I know what you mean. I got kind of impatient somewhere, since improvising slow pieces can be quite taxing on your concentration, and keeping them interesting enough is pretty hard even when you don't make it up on the spot.
